Knowledge exchange

Planet Hope is strongly committed to share knowledge and expertise, in and between India and the Netherlands and other countries. Collaborating with NGOs, public, private and academic institutions increases our mutual impact. Planet Hope bridges gaps between various audiences and institutions worldwide through organizing webinars and conferences, student exchange programs and international delegation visits.

Webinars and conferences

Planet Hope brings together professionals, academicians, students and various non-governmental organizations to discuss and share their insights, experiences and expertise on shared interests and concerns. Through (online) webinars and conferences we provide like-minded individuals from across the globe the opportunity to learn from each other, discuss, network and share ideas. In 2019 we organized the international conference Power of Women in Amsterdam and participated in the Women Economic Forum in Tunis. Recent international webinars include ‘Domestic violence during the pandemic’ and ‘Covid-19 challenges and implications in elderly care in the Indo-Dutch context’ (with speakers from St. John’s hospital Bangalore/IN, Ashley Care Home Bangalore/IN, Laurens Care Rotterdam/NL and Reinier de Graaf Hospital Delft/NL).

Student exchange & exposure programs

Together with its partner EurIndia Connection, Planet Hope organizes internships and exposure visits for (social work) students in India to the Netherlands, and vice versa. Together with St. Joseph’s College in Bangalore and ROC Mondriaan in The Hague we have accommodated two batches of Indian students to the Netherlands. These programs are impactful and completely change the perception of young students by providing them experiences that will last a lifetime.

Delegation visits

Together with its partner EurIndia Connection, Planet Hope organizes visits for Dutch and European delegations of professionals and academicians to counterparts in India, and vice versa. By facilitating the trip by local professionals, and making connections with the right local partners, the impact of these knowledge exchange programs will increase drastically. Recently, we organized and facilitated a program for Dutch care and medical professionals to hospitals and medical institutions in Bangalore.
